Route Introduction
Burrinjuck Railway is a Open Rails Train Simulator Route based in the mid 1920's and includes:
- Railway between Goondah (on NSWGR main South Line) to Burrinjuck Dam
- Section of the Main Southern Line between Bowning and Binalong.
Note: This route will open in MSTS, but the rolling stock will only open in Open Rails.

Route Map and Gradient Preview
Route Map
If you would like to preview and keep the Route map for Version 1 then you can use Tim Booth's (now upgraded to V0.98) excellent trackviewing tool. This update allows the preview to be loaded and kept permanently installed without causing any MSTS errors.
Please:
i) Read the readme file first.
ii) Download Track Viewer (V0.98)
iii) Download the Burrinjuck Railway Preview Route Map Preview.
iv) Install the above components and open Trackview to view route.
Route Gradient Profile
Using the "Mapper" tool developed by Okrasa Ghia, you can view the gradient profile of the Burrinjuck line. The line had maximum gradients of 1 in 30 facing trains travelling from Goondah and 1 in 25 facing trains travelling towards Goondah. Click on the icon below to see the gradients.
